Prologue

Reflection of Grace

This is not a biography, nor is it merely a website. It is certainly not an all-inclusive record of everything that has happened in my life, nor does it claim to be perfect.

It is, instead, a reflection of the heavenly grace I have received — a grace that called me by name even before I was born — to make a difference in this world and to praise God.

Faith in the journey and the direction of my life is not belief without doubt, but rather the courage given by the grace of God to move forward in spite of doubt and the darkness of this world.

The reason I have devoted my time to this website is to leave behind, for those who care, memories and reflections — a record that I was once part of this world. None of it is meant to gain honour, titles, or recognition, for such things are only outward signs.

True humility is measured by service and purity of intent.

I have often failed to live with the integrity, humility, and courage I desired in my heart — yet by the grace of God, I have been lifted up each time I stumbled and carried through by His mercy.

My dream in life is to be with God in Heaven one day, and to share that eternal joy with all my loved ones.

My wish is that my children, and their children after them, may be proud of their heritage and remember me. For those who visit this website and are not family, I hope you may find enrichment and faith in the story of a life lived — humbly, and only by God’s grace.

This is not just about my life, but also about those I loved dearly, and those who influenced and shaped my journey. It is not a complete record, nor was it ever meant to be — the breadth of memories and experiences is far beyond my ability to recall.

This is a heritage for those who care.

Psalm 115:1
“Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam.”
(Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Your name give glory.)

2 Timothy 4:7–8
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
